In a tight gold medal match, the NBA legend celebrated in style, pulling out the classic celebration that Neymar made famous. James starred in the final, as he collected his first Olympic gold medal in a star-studded side.

LeBron hit 14 points across the four quarters and after the game pulled out the Neymar celebration, which was just the start of the joyous scenes. Steph Curry, Devin Booker and Kevin Durant also shone as America showed their class against the host nation. Earlier in the competition Neymar hailed the Olympic Champions as legends on his Instagram story.

This was the first time that Curry and James had featured together at the Olympics and they put on a show in Paris, leading their country to the pinnacle of competition. Their team-mate Durant is on the other end of the spectrum winning gold for a record-breaking fourth time – the only basketballer to do that.
WHAT NEXT FOR NEYMAR AND LEBRON?
Despite barely playing since his move to Saudi Arabia, Neymar is clearly still a sporting icon among all athletes, and he will be hoping to showcase a new celebration once he recovers from his ACL injury. LeBron will now turn his focus to the holiday season after a long NBA season ended in success on the international stage.
